Tuscany is also known for its fine wines and culinary tradition. For those looking for things to do in Tuscany, below are a few things to consider.
Take a trip to Florence
Many believe that Florence is home to the world's largest concentration of Renaissance art and architecture. Florence contains a plethora of art galleries and museums which house some of the most precious works of art in the world. For instance, the world famous Uffizi is home to Botticelli's Birth of Venus, while an abundance of frescos, paintings, and sculptures can be seen at many of the city's cathedrals and churches.

Tuscany has one of the richest traditions of ancient and modern music. One of the most popular vineyards is Carmignano, which is located on the slopes of Mount Albano. Carmignano has a rich history as it is believed to have been producing wines for over 2,500 years. Some of Carmignano's most popular vineyards are Tentua di Capezzana Ambra, Artimino, and Castelvecchio. For those who want to learn more about the wines and their history, be sure to visit the Museum of Grapevine.
Another city that is home to popular wineries is Montepulciano, located in the southeast region of Tuscany. When there, be sure to taste Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, one of Tuscany's most popular red wines. Aged a minimum of four years, the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is a pleasure to any pallet.
And finally there is always the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Located in the city of Pisa, the Leaning Tower of Pisa is one of the most iconic and most recognized attractions on earth. Many tourists like to be photographed as if they are trying to hold up the building. Tourists also like to climb to the top of the tower, which has over 296 steps.
